XBOCT: Darer will become stronger

After a series of losses in various competitions, Dota2.ru has managed to grab

Natus Vincere's very own charismatic carry player,

XBOCT, to give his opinion about their recent performances, the recent roster changes in the European competitive scene and to give us a little insight to his private life.

joinDOTA brings you the translated version of the interview for your reading pleasure:

At the begining of the year Na'Vi won many international Dota 2 tournaments - The Defense, The Premier League, StarLadder Star Series Season 1 and more. Which of the tournaments did you guys find easiest, which was the hardest?

Finals of The Defense, in which we almost lost to Quantic, but managed take the initiative back into our hands.

Which of the year's tournaments did you like the most with regards to
organisation and participants?

The Premier League, Starladder - tournaments which gave you some room for error so you don't drop out because of ping, rehost or something else.

Lately many known teams are changing their roster and sponsors. Which of these teams in your opinion did this most successfuly and why?

Time will show, but I feel that Darer will become stronger.

How would you explain the phenomenal stability of your team - correct
management, friendly team, high salaries or something else?

Probably all of the above, but in general - when we are winning - everyone likes everything, everyone loves each other and close to no reasons for arguments are left, so we play together and quite successfuly while other teams break apart and change their roster more than every month.

Next International is not that far away, with even higher prizepool and fan attention. How do you evaluate your team's status for the competition at this moment?

Right now about 50%, but we still have 3 months of persistent training to get into appropriate shape.

Which teams do you think will be invited to the International? Which teams would you like to see there?

Well, I know almost everyone who's going to be there, but I am not allowed to talk about it.

Can't not ask about your losses yesterday in Starladder Star Series Season 2 games vs CLG and MouseSports, because after your flawless first season, this was a huge surprise for everyone. Why did this happen?

We haven't played together for 20 days, took vacations, these were our first games together after a long break, we will return to our past form.

Are you confindent that you will be able to win the second season of StarLadder?

Of course we'll win. *smiles and winks*

And lastlly, some "offtopic" questions. Do you have a girlfriend, and if so,
how does she feel about your work?

I have a girlfriend, she's understanding even if I sometimes see disapproval, but she doesn't mention it, after all I really love her and give her as much attention as I can.

Do you plan to earn money with cybersport or do you have different plans?

Will see how my Dota career will go in the near future, but I don't plan to do this for more than 2-3 years (unless the game gains some unbelievable prospects).

The only carry player being better than XBOCT is Pajkatt, i belive, but XBOCT suits for na'vi just so much better because of their playstyle, he is playing carry hero not that often, but pretty often Puppey picks something more pushy/ ganky like QoP for him

Not confirmed, Valve said that they may change their picks at any point. I wonder how many pros know who will get invited and who won't. Because NS in his interview, said that he knew who will be invited as well.

By this point every non-US team probably knows. Visas typically take 6-8 weeks to get, particularly for events like this that count as business and not tourism. So they have to get the ball rolling no later than now to protect against any delays.

Didn't know Na'Vi have a match against Mineski. So I search the net for a vid of their match and found a vid in YouTube. No surprise Mineski got rape lol
