The Clash: Past vs Present

The Grand Final of joinDOTA OPEN I will commence in twelve hours from now. Fighting for the crown will be two teams; one eying to maintain their new found team synergy, and the other one, wanting to win one more edition of joinDOTA series.

In one of the most anticipating finale, Quantic Gaming and DD (ex Quantic) will attempt to overthrow each other in order to win the first of joinDOTA OPEN.

DD, previously known as Quantic Gaming, got embroiled in a controversial issue, wherein they left the American organization for the newly formed Eclypsia. Two days later, the Danish team withdrew from Eclypsia over certain conflicts and disagreements, ending the newly formed partnership.

The Danes also experienced a roster change with Sylvester 'Link' Hoelgaard being replaced by Amel 'Playmate' Barudzija. Following a dip in performance, the team lately has shown signs of recuperating and have stormed past formidable opponents like Darer, Mousesports and NEXT.kz in joinDOTA OPEN I.



On the other hand, Quantic acquired ex-GoSu, who previously played under It's GoSu tag, providing them a new found home. The team led by Josh 'PAINTITGOLD' Amos has performed superbly and have impressed the community, specially Steven 'Korok' Ashworth with his Storm Spirit play.

The Americans have joinDOTA Masters II and VI title under their belt, and will be looking forward to claim the inaugural joinDOTA OPEN as well. They overcame opponents such as Evil Geniuses, SGC, 4 Friends + Chrillee to reach the finals of joinDOTA OPEN I.
