Despite producing mostly strong performances during the TI5 group stage, Team Secret have dropped two games so far to many people's surprise. In dota2's 'TI5 Community Report', Zai was interviewed by Hot_Bid with regards to their two defeats, as well as how he feels the Chinese teams differ from Western sides.

The interview took place after eu Team Secret were convincingly swept aside by Fnatic in game 2 of their series and a great LGD performance leading Secret to a second 1-1 result in the group stage already, despite many people expecting a more dominant showing from the side. se Ludwig 'zai' Wåhlberg voiced his opinions on why exactly he thought these two games in question were lost, starting with the Fnatic game.

We were trying to figure out how to draft properly, because it was really early in the tournament (our first series), so we hadn't really figured out what people prioritise in the tournament yet. We got outdrafted really badly and we lost.

When talking about the LGD game, he claimed their reason for defeat to be similar to the first; the draft they selected conflicted with what they were trying to achieve.

The same thing happened against LGD, we wanted to try and play against Leshrac, which we usually don't do. We drafted a line-up that really didn't do that well against Leshrac so we just kinda lost.

Preferably we would ban it, but if you learn how to beat Leshrac it gives you such an advantage over all the other teams, so I think we will keep theorycrafting.

The other interesting line of questioning was related to Zai's experience talking to the Chinese teams, including how he thinks they differ from western teams.

I think they are more unified in general. Maybe ca Artour 'Arteezy' Babaev comes on here and talks about how we are doing something wrong and he doesn't agree with our captain, something like that, but if a Chinese player came on there wouldn't be any of that stuff. They are all alike in their mindset and the way they act.
