DreamHack Summer invites announced

au Absolute Legends and ru Darer are the final two teams revealed to have been directly invited to the DreamHack Summer 2012 Vengeance Dota 2 Cup.



That these two teams were picked will not come as a surprise to many, as both boast the experience and the pedigree to compete at the highest level.

Both teams will also no doubt have points to prove at one of the world's most renowned LAN events: the Russians will be looking to recover from their recent StarSeries disappointment, and the Australians will be seeking to demonstrate their true talent without being limited by high ping counts between them and their European opponents.

With ru Moscow Five and us ex-GoSu also securing their passes to the event by way of winning yesterday's two online qualifiers, and space for six more teams to qualify in addition to the already invited teams, the competition this summer looks set to be legendary.

And don't forget that joinDOTA's au Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson will be broadcasting live from the event in Jönköping, Sweden, from June 16th to 19th. Mark the dates in your calendars!

Raistlin is Swedish and I am sure he has connections with the organizers. Tjernobyl is DH Dota 2 admin, I guess it helps to have the exclusivity :]

vigoss will attend for sure. I mean, Moscow Five seems to be a strict organization, I doubt they would sign vigoss if he planed to not go to the event. He even appeared in a video interview...

It's hard to be faster then gosugamers when it was Tjerno who wrote the dreamhack news + gosugamers news ^^

hope Complexity can make it in through one of the other qualifiers since they barely lost to M5 in that one. I don't know how those are set up though, are they out out since they didn't make it in through that one?

It also helps when Tjernobyl (the DH admin) is the one writing the actual article for GosuGamers. Or so I've heard.

Actually it's not that easy.
Organisation recieves the invite. Players leave organisation. Organisation still holds invite. Hopefully we'll find a solution.
