Deciding to establish their own team in the near future, Djardel 'DJ' Mampusti, Mark 'Cast' Pilar and Ryo 'ryOyr' Hasegawa have announced their departure from Rave through a Facebook post.
We would like to say thanks to all of our fans (in case we still have them Hahaha) who supported us from the start till the end and to all the people behind the team.
Once again, Thank you very much!Posted by Mark "Cast" Pilar on Tuesday, 16 June 2015
The team fomally played under the organisation of EoT Hammer before becoming Rave* in May 2014. Unless Rave decide to build from the ground up, this looks like the end for Rave in the Dota scene. However, Rave's manager Kwang 'Pyung' Pyeong released a short statement outlining the organisation's intentions:
Thank you for your continued and undying support!
Tipped by many to be invited directly to TI5 by Valve, they were pipped to the post by Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung's Fnatic, and then fell flat in the Qualifiers as the MVP organisation finished with both of it's teams in the Top 2 positions. Despite this, they did consistently achieve good placings in both domestic and international tournaments around late 2014 and early 2015 when they were most active.
Rave's Achievements
- KDL S4 - 1st
- MGPL S6 - 1st
- i-League S1 - 3-4th
- DAC 2014 - 5-6th
