Captain Planet is now It's Gosu

us It's Gosu have announced the release of their current Dota 2 squad, and they have picked up new team us Captain Planet. Citing internal conflicts, It's Gosu decided to part ways with their current squad, previously known as EZ Style. What will happen to this squad remains to be seen, although former GoSu player Sam 'Bulba' Baird has been seen regularly playing as a stand in for us Evil Geniuses.

A statement was given by the manager us Scott 'Rumcake' Ball regarding the new team:

Having worked with 1437 and Power.Net before, I can't even tell you how excited I am to work with them again. Their potential is incredible, and I am so happy to know that we will be able to help them in achieving their goals. We also look forward to working with Demise, Koreya, and Celdur as well. With how highly 1437 and Power.Net speak of them, I am sure they will be able to continue to show our fans some exciting games! I would like to thank our fans for their support so far, and I hope you will continue to provide support to our new roster! I am just so happy to welcome them home!


It's Gosu captain ca Theeban '1437' Siva released the following statement:

I really never felt like I ever left It's GoSu. Since the beginning of Dota 2 it has been my home, and I'm really glad to be coming back to where it all started. GoSu fighting!!!


Reunited with his previous sponsors, us Tim 'PowerNet' Moon had this to say about this pickup:

It feels great to be back at home with It’s GoSu. The first time around I said that my team would be stronger than ever, and this time I am determined to prove it!


Having qualified for the grand finals for the Star Ladder series, the It's Gosu team will sadly not be able to compete in the LAN event, but will be replaced with ru Moscow 5. Stay tuned as joinDOTA bring you updates of this new team.

Seeing how much Bulba was standing in for EG and not really many news around the old Gosu I think this was a good decision, really sad tho they wont be attending Starladder finals, they really deserved their spot!

i remember him.. he is a awesome sf player.. and he was playign sc2 sometime ago... he is back to dota2?

When you are the best and go around owning everyone being stable is quite easy as compared to all the other teams. It also depends on the sponsor which may make changes that are entirely based upon things other than results.
