Earlier today, gr London Conspiracy* announced on their website that they would be replacing carry player gr Nikos 'ReaLaxXx' Kiazolis with gr Haris 'SkyLark' Zafiriou. It initially appeared the move came after the TI invite, but according to sources at London Conspiracy the move was done beforehand.

London Conspiracy have had some very solid performances in 2015, having placed first in three tournaments and most shockingly, qualifying for the StarLadder XII Lan final, beating out the likes of ru Team Empire and ru Virtus.Pro*. They failed to deliver once they got the LAN final, attributing communication errors which lead to some poor fights during the event. This caused to change up the roster, replacing gr Nikos 'ReaLaxXx' Kiazolis with gr Haris 'SkyLark' Zafiriou.

The following statement was made by managing director Joe "RCN" Tuley

Since November we have been going strength to strength with our DOTA2 team. Winning iSeries without dropping a game to attending StarLadder LAN Finals and playing with world’s top 8 elite! Today marks a new era for the Greeks, with the arrival of “SkyLark” who will be replacing Realaxx. With the new chemistry added to a very successful mixture, we hope to create something very special over the 2015 season and beyond. I can not wait to see what they have in store for us. We also really want to thank Nikos for his time with London Conspiracy, he remains a very strong player and helped us get to where we are today, he still is a fantastic friend and we hope he has every success with whatever he does.

The roster change shortly after their invite to the qualifiers seems odd, as last year's The International underwent a similar incident with eu Fnatic*'s carry player se Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu, who cited anxiety issues for the reason he couldn't attend and would be replaced by se Steve 'Xcalibur' Ye. This caused a ton of controversy as Valve would not let the team participate unless they played with the roster they had registered with. Eventually Fnatic did end up playing with se Adrian 'Era' Kryeziu, putting se Steve 'Xcalibur' Ye in the position of coach.

London Conspiracy are currently in contact with Valve and are hoping for the best possible outcome and will be making an announcement once a decision has been reached.
