eu Basically Unknown* managed to win their second consecutive MSI Dragon Battle last night, on the eve of the TI5 invite and qualifier teams. It was a live-action of replay of the last MSI Dragon Battle, with once again ua ScaryFaceZZZ* joining the Bulgarians in the Grand Final, and once again BU came out with a 2-0 victory. However, the final game did not go as planned.

Two of the more experienced teams in the grid, world The Balkan Bears* and fi STARK*, both fell in the first round of the 2,000 EUR event to the hands of Frenchfr Zero Respect and Polish pl Team Kinguin*. Although, it was SFZ and BU were once again the stars of the show. The first game of the Grand Finals was completely one way traffic, with BU in complete dominance, but things went awry in the second game.

At the 15 minute mark ro Ionut 'ArisE' Turtoi dropped out, and the game was saved, but without a 15 minute-mark save, the game started again at the 10 minute mark. Then after 17 minutes in another BU played dropped and SFZ once again agreed to wait. In the end BU decided to carry on with four players, and with a well farmed Phantom Assassin, won the second game with a man down.

All in all it was a well mannered grand finals with SFZ showing great sportsmanship. Furthermore, for the finals Undying and Centaur were auto-banned to avoid a repeat of the "Loda bug" discovered earlier in the day.

Basically Unknown have had an extremely impressive month in terms of results, but did not receive an invite to the TI5 qualifiers to be held later this month. They will however, find some reassurance that the open qualifier be hosted by FACEIT leaves them with one last opportunity to sort the boys from the men, and with two MSI Dragon Battle's under their belt, they could definitely be a contender.
