EG replaces NaVi in joinDOTA Masters V
posted by HolyMaster, 1 year ago

The joinDOTA Masters tournament series is entering its fifth and final round. After two interesting trips to Asia, we are back to the western world with eight well known teams.
Sadly
Natus Vincere pulled out of the competition. The Defense champion is not able to attend with its full lineup and therefore decided not to take part at all. NaVi's replacement however is none other than
Evil Geniuses. The winner of the first jD Masters was able to fill in on short notice and thus gets to participate for the third time.EG is going to face
youBoat at 15:00 CEST, after
Counter Logic Gaming and
Moscow Five have kicked off the tournament. Later we'll see the former fnatic, now with its new name
Bagra sa Balkana, facing
Darer Entertainment, and finally
Epidemic vs.
compLexity.Loading...
The semifinals will start right after the last quarterfinal, followed by the grand final at approximately 21:15 CEST. All matches will be shoutcasted by
Toby 'TobiWanKenobi' Dawson.

We actually asked alot of other teams but alot of them have other commitments or it was too short notice for them to assemble their team. EG was kind enough to fill the slot left by Na'Vi.
Don't worry...this wont be the last jD Masters

Btw what's wrong with EG recently, abandoning games plus roster issue blah blah and they don't even care to explain the situation to the fans zzz

Would have preferred to see TIG, Mouz or new Fnatic to replace Navi instead of EG, but I'm ok with EG aswell I suppose.

ermmm just wondering, does that mean Na'Vi wont be playing against ex-Next.kz tonight on the star series? it would be weird if they pulled out of the jD masters and then still play for the star series XD

Meh.... I guess it's better than seeing Na'Vi play with 2 standins like a couple months ago.

It stinks that na'vi dropped both of their masters =/ But yeah, gotta agree I don't feel like seeing them play with standins. Regardless, I'm thrilled to see the replacement you found was EG, still maintaining the excitement of the final masters
