After looking at the bracket before the play began many would have expected that Cloud9 will have an easy way to Commerzbank-Arena. However, it was not the case. C9 quite surprisingly lost to Alliance and have to battle through the Lower Bracket ever since. They didn't have very tough opponents in two previous rounds but now they will have to take on joinDOTA MLG Pro League Season 1 champions. This match is definitely something to look forward to as both teams are in top from recently.
However, before that show down will happen Natus Vincere will will lock horns with Team Tinker*. Although TT is now primarily located in North America at the time of the invites they were mainly a European team. The little ping disadvantage will for sure not discourage Tinker from giving their absolute all as the team is fighting for the close to come TI invite. Qualifying to ESL One Frankfurt with $250,000 prize pool would be a great addition to their resume.
On the other hand, Na'Vi looked really shaky the last 2 months. However, they still had a pretty nice run at the ESL qualifiers and are still in contention. The continuous roster changes seemed to lead Na'Vi all the way into a slump. In the end the Ukranian administration decided to bring back the original captain - Ivan 'Artstyle' Antonov. This move as well as hard practice seems to have paid diligence as their performance in RedBull Battlegrounds proves they are improving. If Na'Vi continue playing the same way they will definitely not be a walk through for Team Tinker.
