Just over a month after de Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier was ousted from cn Vici Gaming the squad has finally announced his replacement, with sources revealing that cn Chen 'Hao' Zhihao will take up the carry role for the team. Hao’s arrival on Vici puts an end to a month of speculation about who would replace the German carry player on the roster.

How Hao might look with his new teammates

This comes only days after Black’s move to eu Team Tinker was revealed, officially putting an end to a plethora of rumours surrounding Vici Gaming’s decision to remove him from the roster after their second place finish at the DAC Asia Championships.

The transfer was of course a fairly predictable one, with Black's departure from the squad becoming known after an AMA from sg Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang last month. This didn't leave many other options for Vici, with cn Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei playing for cn Invictus Gaming now, and cn Liu 'Sylar' Jiajun settling in at cn LGD Gaming. This, combined with the dwindling performance of TI4 champions cn Newbee, made the transfer a perfect fit.

With the addition of Hao Vici Gaming appear to have put an end to the communication issues that they suffered during DAC, with four Chinese nationals now representing the squad. However, Hao’s arrival at VG means that the poorly performing Newbee roster is now down a carry player, with speculation as to who may replace Hao on Newbee running rampant; it is still unclear at this point who will replace the TI veteran.

With The international invites looming this latest post DAC Chinese shuffle appears to be winding down, with Vici expected to stabilize their roster and prepare for a number of upcoming international LAN events. Although, with Newbee now down a player it is unclear whether or not the team will receive an invite to Valve’s prestigious LAN later this year, after all only a fragment of the squad’s original roster remains.

Who will replace Hao on Newbee?
