The team which initially saw the reunion of three of the Fnatic line-up who took second place at D2CL and third place HyperX D2L Western Challenge, has now officially closed only 44 days after their first competitive match. Their closure means they will withdraw from their current competitions which include the MLG Pro League and the D2CL.

H4nn1, whose departure from the team was published yesterday, said the reason for the split was not personal but because "given the time to a potential TI qualifier, I don't see a success with that roster". The official MeePwn'd Facebook post just an hour ago echoed his concerns:

It is with a heavy heart that we now announce the disbanding of our Dota 2 team. Though there were no conflicts between the players themselves, there were feelings that this roster would take too long to reach it's potential. We will withdraw from our current tournaments (jDL/MLG, D2CL, SLTV12). Nevertheless, we wish our players the best of luck in their future endeavors! Thanks to all our fans that stood by us!

Could W33haa's publicised comments last month come back to haunt him?

The team had recently struggled to field a consistent line-up, with a variety of players standing in for the team before its demise, much like how the Fnatic Dota 2 squad eventually closed down in December last year.
