The departure of Reaves from DotaCinema was revealed yesterday night in a sudden announcement on DotaCinema's facebook page. The famous video maker was a vital part of Sunsfan's team with their most notorious work together being the Fails of the Week series. Will the series ever be the same?

Reaves started working with DotaCinema two years ago and quickly became a remarkable duo with SUNSFan. Nevertheless their directions shifted the last months and eventually the divorce between them was a certainty. According to Reaves he had a few issues about his role within the company but now he has a lot of options in front of him and is excited about his future.

His full statement:
Well here we are my loves, what a ride. I had a fantastic time at DC and it warms my heart to receive so many messages and well wishes from so many of you. Leaving DC can be considered a mutual decision between me and Sunsfan though I do wish a number of things had gone differently and that I could have been utilized more efficiently within the company. That being said there is no ill will between myself and DC and I wish them all the best.

All that leaves is "What's next?". As for that I really don't know! I consider myself at the moment a sort of "free agent" in the Youtube/online world and I'm leaving my options open for now. Perhaps someone out there has need for an out of work personality. Perhaps I'll go back to my old job, perhaps I'll take steps on my own via Youtube/streaming. I'm open to anything at this point and I'm excited for the future. I can't stress enough how much my fans mean to me and how much your support has fueled me and still drives me today. I love you guys, I really really do. I'll keep you guys updated with all things Reaves related, you can count on that. I hope this isn't the end but if it is...what an amazing journey. With all the love a guy who does silly voices on the internet can muster, thank you.
~Reaves

On their part DotaCinema claimed that: "... we started shifting in different directions and thus decided to part ways. We wish him luck in his future endeavors and thank him for his service. (...) How does this affects Fails? It will be coming back and we're open to suggestions as to which direction you'd like to see the series go".

Aside from their YouTube videos, DotaCinema also expanded to other projects. They organized with great success two seasons of XMG Captains draft which brought a breeze of fresh air to the scene, as well as began to produce their own item sets and an HUD. Synderen was the last to join DC and all together created a strong team.

The series that made Reaves a household name
