The International E-Sports Federation (IESF) has announced the details for the 7th E-Sports World Championship, to be held in Poland later this year. DOTA 2 has been named as one of the two confirmed titles for “the open-for-all” bracket, with more titles to be announced in February.

The main event, which will take place within the city of Łódź in central Poland, will see qualifying teams from around the world represent their countries for the 2015 World Championship title. China are the defending champions in the DOTA 2 division after TI4 victors cn Newbee took home the 2014 title late last year. However, since international rosters are not permitted by the IESF, many players will need to form specially made rosters for the event, playing with their country men and women rather then their regular teammates.

IESF also provided some additional details, including their intention to allow anyone to participate in the “open-for-all” division, regardless of age, gender or disability. This comes after the organization was embroiled in controversy last year with separate divisions for male and female participants. Having since revised their policy the IESF is looking to re-organize their qualification process to ensure a more competitive atmosphere in 2015. Details about the qualifiers and the date of the main event have yet to be released.

Whilst DOTA2 and CS:GO are thus far the only two confirmed events games such as Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, Tekken and Streetfighter also made appearances last year, so expect IESF to confirm more titles after negotiations with developers conclude later this year.
