The joinDOTA Masters conclude in spectacular fashion. Two aggressive teams face eachother, fighting for the first prize and the joinDOTA Masters title. Any of the recent patch changes come into effect? The joinDOTA Masters is a 15,000 USD online tournament featuring 8 teams all fighting in a single elimination grid over the span of four days. Today it saw it's grand finals being played between ru HR and fi 4ASC. Both teams have made promising progress over the last couple of weeks making this a must watch best-of-5.

Game 1

Grabbing one of their favorite heroes PA, HR start this series off with a very standard HR draft. 4ASC however pick up the recently buffed Queen of Pain for Trixi for the solo safelane. 4ASC's aggressive tri-lane causes the early game aggression from minute one which actually favors 4ASC and especially Trixi who dominates his lane versus Venomancer.

20 minutes in and there's only 2 towers being taken, but with plenty of kills as the scoreboard reads 13-16 for HR. The CIS dota is in full effect as HR use their lead to start grouping up to take towers. With their key items up and superior teamfight they make quick work of 4ASC inside their base at the 30 minute mark. This teamwipe along with the objectives gained shortly after, secure the game for ru Dread and co. as 4ASC call GG ending game 1.

Game 2

HR get first pick and start of the with the consistently-effective Skywrath. 4ASC leave no question about their plans as they start of with the Death Prophet/Void combo. HR round off their lineup with core NP, Zeus and PA - solidifying a global gank/split push lineup. The Finns round out their teamfight with enigma, Jakiro and Bane.

HR opt for an aggro tri to put pressure on 4ASC's greedy enigma and void picks, leaving Nature's prophet to 1v1 Trixi's Jakrio top lane as zeus and death prophet square off in mid.

Things start out quiet until first blood is scored bottom on Matumbaman's Void with the help of a Zeus ultimate. As Void is killed a second time, 4ASC counter by pressuring top lane and destory HR's tier 3 at top lane. HR continue to get pickoff with another kill on Void and trade their PA for a black hole. After a short exchange at rosh where HR are caught by chrono and DP ult, the russians run right back in with 4ASC ults on cd and take the first aegis at 14 minutes.

4ASC tries to force some tower pushes, but the resulting trades continue to favor HR, culminating in a 4-for-0 trade after PA burns her aegis. HellRaisers press their advantage with more pickoffs and push down all the tier 2 towers, taking the second aegis at 27 minutess. After a prolonged siege and 4ASC's bottom tier3, HR are able to push in and take a second unanswered win.

Game 3

4ASC decide to run dual lanes with Drow/Visage top and Jakiro/Bane bottom lane. HR send dark seer top, leaving Skywrath to support Slark in the safe lane as Ember squares off against Puck in mid. Dark Seer and Sand King surprise Visage and Drow at the top rune and score a double kill as the creeps spawn. The duo continue to dominate top lane early, scoring multiple kills on Drow and Visage with excellent use of Ion Shell/Burrowstrike ganks. By 5 minutes, ru gorec’s Dark Seer is 6-0.

Some hope is restored as 4ASC smoke into rosh with Drow/Visage and steal the first aegis at 12 minutes. First big teamfight erupts at 4ASC’s tier 3 mid with a fairly even exchange. A second fight initially looks bad for HR, but as it prolongs, 4ASC lose all 5 heroes - unable to escape the Slark and early blink Sand King, returning kills only on the HR supports. Things quiet down until another fight at 20 minutes is baited by HR’s Slark near roshan and with a nice Dark Seer/Sand King ult 4ASC lose all 5 heroes again. HR’s 3 cores take the lead on the net worth, and Ember has battlefury and crystalys at 22 minutes.

4ASC take second rosh and shortly after a misjudged dive from HR and nice ice path use from Trixi result in a 5 man wipe for the Russians. fi Vaalix’s Puck takes the net worth lead with BoTs, Blink, Euls and a Scythe of Vyse online. Back-and-forth fights ensue until the next roshan comes up around 43 minutes. Both teams head in, HR catch out Drow and Visage with a smoke and both are killed with no buyback. ru Afoninje cleans up the fight on his ember spirit, scoring an ultra kill and securing HR a roshan as things start to look grim again for the Finns. HR push in 4ASC’s top lane and put a convincing end to Dire’s comeback prospects, killing off the whole team and forcing the GG call from the Finns, ending what was easily the most entertaining game of the series.

With this 3-0 victory ru HellRaisers claim the title and along with it 7,000 USD.
