The Brawl opens registration

The registration for the qualifiers of DotaReplay's Brawl tournament has open and 64 teams will stand a chance to pit themselves against each other for a piece of the $6,000 prize pool.

The qualifiers will be separated into four weeks of play in which 16 teams will be playing against each other to secure the one available spot to go into the playoffs. Of this 16 teams, eight of them will be reserved for top teams while the remaining half will be open for all. However, only teams deemed the best will be selected by tournament admin to participate in this exclusive tournament.

The first qualifier will begin on the 15th of January and interested teams can put in an application here.

That's not all. Viewers watching the livestream during the course of this tournament will also stand a chance to win Dota 2 beta keys and Dota 2 mouse pads although no further information were given on how these can be won. JoinDOTA has been informed that the tournament format has been slightly changed to accommodate the big influx of registered teams. On the 14th, a pre-qualifier will be done where 32 amateur teams will battle their way to the top eight to play the eight top teams in the qualifer. This qualifier will run four times. From there on, only one team from the qualifier will make its way to the playoffs.
