The EIZO Cup returns after more than half a year on the sidelines with a new and improved prize pool. If your team is itching to keep yourselves sharp after the groupstages of the jDL Season#3, the qualifiers for the Eizo Cup start on Monday. With all the changes in 6.82, you never know you might get lucky.


The EIZO Cup #12 will run from the 29th September to the 2nd of October, which means you better sign up your team over this weekend if you want to get in on the action. The Eizo Cup also rejoins the fray with a buff after its prize pool was increased to 2,000€, 1,500€ for first place and 500€ for second place.

The QualifiersThe qualifiers will run from the 29th - 30th September and are single elimination, starting out from a maximum of 512 which will then wittle its way down to 32 teams by the end of day 1. The following day the qualifiers will continue to decide the final 4 to join the main event.

These are the default match times for the qualifier (CET/CEST):
Day 1, 18:15 - Round 1 (round of 512)
Day 1, 19:30 - Round 2 (round of 256)
Day 1, 20:45 - Round 3 (round of 128)
Day 1, 22:00 - Round 4 (round of 64)
Day 2, 18:00 - Round 5 (round of 32)
Day 2, 19:15 - Round 6 (round of 16)
Day 2, 20:30 - Round 7 (round of 8)


The Main eventThe four qualified teams will join four invited teams and play a single elimination grid. The first main round (quarter-final) is played on the third day of the competition, the semi-finals and final on the fourth. Only the final will be played in bo3 format.
