ESL has bolstered their talent for the upcoming ESL One New York by adding eSports legend Marcus “DjWheat” Graham to the host panel as well as two extremely popular community figures in Ted “PyrionFlax” Forsyth and Jacob “SirActionSlacks” Kanner.


uk Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner will be joined by long-term friend and veteran Marcus “DJWheat” Graham on the hosting panel. DJWheat has been around the competitive eSports scene for more than a decade, running popular shows such as Live on 3 and Inside the Game, and although mainly contributing to the Starcraft2 community over the last few years, he also contributed to the scenes of Counter Strike 1.6, Quake4, Warcraft3 and many other competitive esports titles in the past. If you’re new to the Esports sphere and unfamiliar with DjWheat’s work, this should bring you up to speed as to why he is a legendary figure in the world of esports.

Meanwhile ch Soe "Soe" Gschwind-Penski will be joined by us Jacob “SirActionSlacks” Kanner who has been growing in popularity recently, especially after posting his shenanigans and interviews from TI4 on Reddit in the summer. The boisterous American managed to get confused with Key Arena staff during the event and be charged with protecting Dendi and IceIceice from the masses, hilarity ensued. He will providing interviews from the crowd as well as giving fans a feel of what it’s like to be part of an ESL One event.



Finally fr Sebastien "7ckngmad" Debs and dk Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Anderson will be joined by uk Ted “PyrionFlax” Forsyth on the analyst desk. PyrionFlax was part of the Dream League analyst desk earlier in the year as well as appearing on the Ti4 EU qualifiers hub in Sweden and as a commentator for the Newbie Cast at The International 4. The ESL One New York takes place next month, from the 9th-10th October.
