China is about to kick off a new season LAN events worldwide with World E-sport Championships 2014 followed shortly by another big event, i-League LAN Finals. With the qualifiers concluded for both of the events we now have our 16 contestants to take on one another in these two massive LAN spectacles on Chinese soil.

The most notable team of the qualifiers was definitely cn LGD.CDEC who were able to punch their way, not only to one, but both of the major events bringing down many of the crowd favorites in the process. It’s also heartening to see the cn OldBoys back on the big screen as they were able to secure a spot to the i-League LAN finals with victory over cn LGD. While many of the major European teams were still shuffling their rosters during the qualifiers of the first two LAN events of the season, both i-League and WEC boast a colorful cast of top tier teams fighting for their first titles after the International. With a lot money and pride on the line these two big LAN finals are the perfect start for a brand new “year” of Dota 2.
