Yet again, troubles are brewing for foreigners that want to attend the biggest eSport event in the world. Right now, cn CIS may not get any of their players to this year's International after their Visas were denied.

According to a weibo post in June, the US embassy denied all CIS players but de Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier their visas to the United States. Black was only allowed due to his German citizenship, allowing him to travel to the USA without a visa.

Up to this point, no further information is available on why the visas were declined; however, this isnĀ“t the first case this year. Previously, the entire squad of Arrow Gaming but Johnny was declined their applications until the Malaysian ministry for sports intervened.

The hopes of CIS now lie in Valve for their second interview which is scheduled tomorrow. Maybe they are able to draw a comparison to League of Legends players, who have official athlete status.
