The Summer of Dota will soon be coming thick and fast, and this weekend will see Dreamhack Summer 2014 go down in what looks to be a feast for the western scene. It will be the first time the new world Mousesports line-up play on LAN, who join The Summit champions us Evil Geniuses as well as eu Fnatic, ru Team Empire, world Cloud9 and se The Alliance.
JoinDOTA crew will be on location to provide you with best inside scoops, interviews and more, as the LAN event progresses.

In the online stage which concluded two months ago, Cloud9 and Empire finished in pole position, with Team Dog - now Mousesports, surprising most by finishing in the top 6 ahead of Na'Vi who fell just short following technical difficulties in a crucial match. MiSeRy's team's success has been all online up until this point, and with the team practising hard in Berlin recently, they could very well be the talk of the tournament.

Alliance return to DH
Team EG are the favourites going into the competition having just staged an epic comeback to be crowned The Summit winners, but they never faced MiSery's new and improved line-up, with the addition of Fata and Pas- taking place after the last time the two teams met in the StarSeries America Prelims.

Alliance who won last year's summer installment of Dreamhack after a 2-1 win against fr Quantic return this year, and are the only teams aside from Mousesports and EG to have featured in last year's competition. If you're in the mood for nostalgia you can relive the past through the 2013 Dreamhack Summer Gallery. Fnatic finish the set, coming into the tournament after an odd performance at The Summit, where a remarkable victory against cn Team DK was hushed by defeat to us Team EG.

We are ready! Are you?
