2p.com has begun to rekindle speculation that Chinese legend Chen Zhou Yao might be considering leaving the computer and retiring from competitive Dota. The article pays its respects to the player's rises and falls, encouraging him to stay on.

Posting on Weibo, the Tongfu carry said several weeks ago:

“I am in bad form today, and I felt it when I was playing. If I can't adjust better, I will retire. Thanks to all my fans, I let you guys down”

The comment came after defeats to LGD and DK in the World E-Sports Professional Classic and G League, respectively, and with Tongfu unsuccessful in their bid to win ECL 2014. An article at 2p.com published yesterday has re-sparked the discussion that this might be the final tournament to feature Zhou. The article which finishes with the words "Find a team, work hard and make it successful, because this is definitely not your time to retire" breaks down the recent results of the team.

Many Dota fans will remember Zhou in happier times, carrying iG to victory against Na'Vi in The International 2012. However, 2013's International was not so kind for the Chinese team, who struggled amid rumours of dissent amongst their members. These rumours were seemingly confirmed when Zhou left iG for Tongfu, leading former team mate ChuaN to infamously declare "byebye burden".
