In over a week's time, the RedBull eSports Champions League will be hosting its LAN finals at the Chinese eSports Centre in Beijing, China. Eight teams from the online qualifiers will be joining the big four (LGD.cn, LGD.int, iG and DK) at the LAN finals to battle it out for a grand total of 130,000 RMB (~$20,000) in cold hard cash.

Tournament Info


Date: 10th to 14th July
Venue: China eSports centre in Beijing

Format



The teams will be divided into two groups of six teams, which will play a best-of-one round robin system in order to determine four teams which will proceed to the single elimination playoffs. Teams will be paired up accross the groups, so that the winner of Group A faces the fourth place team of Group B in the first round, and so on. The playoffs will be best-of-three, with a best-of-five finals.

Coverage



Along with the DotaTV ticket available in the client, English commentary will be handled by BeyondTheSummit, while the LAN Finals will also be covered in Chinese by cn Wu '2009' Sheng, cn Zhou 'Haitao' Lingxiang, cn Dong 'DC' Can and cn Zou '820' Yitian.

Prizepool



1st - 100,000 RMB (~$16,000) + qualifies for RedBull ECL grand final at the end of the year.
2nd - 20,000 RMB (~$3,200)
3rd - 10,000 RMB (~$1,600)
