Server will most likely be either Europe or Stockholm, that region is the closest to a geographic midpoint between USA and China since there's no servers in the middle of the Pacific :D

Ping will probably be like 200-250ms for both teams but hopefully this will still be a good match; coL has been playing great lately, it'll be interesting to see what they pull out against Ehome.

i think SG server will be fair to both teams kinda ,coL may get 300 pings but CN also get like 250-270 on SG (exception some chinese that get good pings on sg server like iG or LGD) but its highly likely best server there , if game is played on US west then coL;80 pings vs 300 EHOME totally imbalance

Geographically stockholm is middle ground, but internet routing makes it so that a stockholm server would strongly favor the US team. I don't think the Chinese have a direct connection to Europe, and they may actually route through the US before reaching any european servers. As the above poster stated, the game is most likely to be played on the SG server. I believe the European/American teams that have been scrimming against the Chinese teams have been doing so on SG servers.

My mouth was hanging open the entirety of that game 3--I've never seen anything like that. It was literally like watching a surgeon doing an operation, and coL was the specimen on the table. What exactly are you supposed to do against a team playing the way EHOME was?

Regardless, I'm majorly impressed with coL. I didn't expect them to be able to stand against the might of EHOME as well as they did. Even though they lost, they definitely put up an admirable effort. Hats off to them and hopefully they are able to take their experience in this match and learn something from it to take into TI2.

@ dotaplayer, as I heard coL and EHOME play a lot of scrims against eachother and coL supposedly wins the majority of them.

Impressive play from EHOME but I don't think coL would pick a Sven in a major tournament game with a lot of money on the line.

well, I don't think Ehome would picked pugna in a major tournament either.....

Why not? It's a very viable hero. Putting him versus a trilane with only an ES to support was obviously a bad idea but there's nothing wrong with the hero. Netherward alone basically forced coL to wait for BKB on sandking before they could even think of pushing rax.

Same here. Looks like viewing the VODs is not free anymore. Lets just hope other streamers do not start doing the same thing. If we wanted to pay for viewing VODs we could have done so through the Dota 2 store anyway.

I believe they added some subscription option for a good cause. Not too sure though.

GR-AwfuL, So is necrobook sylla and Roaming Lion? =) And Pugna pick was forced cuz of the ridiculous difference in pings, (coL ~ less than 100 and EHOME over 250) EHOME was forced to pick a pushing lineup which depends less on ping to micro. As for their recent scrims, I really doubt they were played in the fair hosts (Most likely played on USW which is unfair for EHOME as seen from the Pinging screen in Game 2 VOD) I think both teams didn't play to their fullest. =) All I can agree with you is that it's not right to say EHOME is the better team than coL just by watching these replays.
